As a Haitian owned marketing firm, Nouveau Concepts (NC) sprung into action when the 7.0 earthquake hit Haiti. For three weeks, Stéphane Jean-Baptiste, CEO of Nouveau Concepts dedicated over 100 hours to the marketing needs of the Haitian Professionals of Philadelphia. HPP was able to raise over $75,000, obtain over 300 general and medical volunteers, keep the City of Philadelphia informed of progress and needs in large part to the organizations web presence. Nouveau Concepts built a website for HPP in 24 hours, was on call 24 hours to update information on the website and develop marketing collateral due the fluidity and ever changing details of the earthquake.
NC graciously mastered social media tools to assist in providing a multitude of local press agencies such as NBC10, 107.9 WRNB, WURD 900am and the Philadelphia Inquirer information to stay abreast of what was going on in the Haitian community. We must also mention that our CEO is Community Development Chair for the Haitian Professionals of Philadelphia (HPP) so in addition to the above he was tasked with speaking at events & meeting with networks on behalf of the organization, and helping with volunteer management at one of the donation warehouses.
