This insightful presentation presented by Stéphane Jean-Baptiste, CEO & Creative Director of Nouveau Concepts and Summer Search Alum, BO ’02 will discuss opportunities for creating new entrepreneurial opportunities for individuals in all stages of their professional and/or educational paths. The Gift of Entrepreneurship, endeavors to inspire the seed of entrepreneurism as well as arm those with business aspirations with the essential tools to move forward. Workshop goals includes an introduction to the central questions of entrepreneurship:
- How to create a business idea
- How to identify and attract “customers”
- How to manage limited finances
- How to find the resources an entrepreneur needs

About the speaker:
As CEO & Creative Director Stéphane spearheads and conceptualizes marketing solutions that have been lauded by many notable institutions such as The University of Pennsylvania, University of Massachusetts, Pennsylvania Women’s Campaign Fund, Jersey Cares, and Philadelphia International Records. When Stéphane is not creating masterpieces and running the company, he is busy being a community activist. His activities include: 2010 Pennsylvania Political Fellow at Center for Progressive Leadership, Board Chair and Co-Founder of the Alumni Board for Summer Search Philadelphia, a national leadership program that helps low-income students graduate high school, go to college, gain successful careers, and give back to society.

As a minority owned agency, we were proud to work with the University of Pennsylvania on the marketing material for the first Penn Spectrum Conference. With diversity being a much valued component of the Penn experience, it was our duty to ensure our designs brought diversity to life for the array of returning Penn Alum. While the project was not without its challenges, seeing the overwhelmingly positive response from the Penn community and partaking on a historical journey with an esteemed institution has made overcoming each roadblock more rewarding. Congratulations to the Penn Alumni Diversity Alliance, Multicultural Outreach Office and the Penn community on a historical achievement.
